What is overdraft protection?
Ever panicked because of a forgotten check or unexpected travel purchase? Worry no more. Overdraft protection acts as a safeguard on your checking account. It lets you spend safely and gives you peace of mind. If you overdraw on your checking account, you won’t be charged a fee. Instead, we’ll take the funds from your savings account, or draw them from a pre-approved line of credit. Keep in mind if you do not any have funds available in one of these alternative accounts, you could still be charged a fee.

You can transfer money between your OAS FCU checking and savings accounts and accounts you may have at other U.S. financial institutions. Simply sign on to your Online or Mobile Banking, look for the "Transfers" tab, and click Add an External Account to get started.
